Family.

Well this week is another one down. We found a new investigator while visiting a less active lady. She opened the door, said she didn`t have time, and then told us to teach her son. So we started. He was all bandaged up--the week before he had fallen from the balcony on the second story of their apartment building when the balcony railing broke--and landed on his face. Almost died, had a life changing experience. Which is good! Elder McRoberts and I were like "Sha-Wing!!"

The other members of our district had a double baptism, and decided to do it at our chapel. While filling up the font, a member of the ward thought he would help...and suddenly there we were, an hour away from the baptisms and the font was full of ice cold water. We had giant pots of water boiling in the kitchen, special moments of just staring at the water heater in the janitor`s closet, and plenty of stress to go around. Baptisms never go perfectly. Ever. But hey, that`s okay.

I feel like I`ve lost a lot of my french with this here illness, which is too bad. I just can`t concentrate anymore. But I`m on the path to recovery now, I should be fine soon, and all french will come back. I`ve attached some photos, so enjoy!

Well we have been working really hard. More success to follow!

peace be the journey,

Elder Holm
